There was a movie in 2001 that had a great impact on us. French, with the name of Amelie, told the story of an innocent girl who tries to improve the lives of those around her and finds love along the way. The protagonists, the director and also the music They hit deep with viewers and became a classic. This is how we discover who composed the score, the maestro Yann Tiersen and little by little we got to know part of his work. But there is a group of Argentine musicians who went further and interpret his compositions as a tribute and soon we will have them at the Teatro Margarita Xirgu (Chacabuco 875, CABA).
It’s about Snack Amélie, the band tribute to Yann Tiersen and Amélie Soundtrack, who returns to the Federal Capital to give us a magical concert that transports us through the imaginary and the fantastic work of the Frenchman, accompanied by the projection of the film ‘icon of his career. We talked to one of the performers to find out how their love for these scores was born, Franco Lombardi, and this is what he told us:
