Governor Ricardo Quintela led this Tuesday the delivery of 50 0km vans and 60 motorcycles to the provincial police during an act held at the Superdome. The new police units are equipped with the highest technology developed in the market and it is the largest investment in safety and prevention made in the history of the province.
During the act, Governor Ricardo Quintela expressed “providing the security force with the necessary tools to guarantee an effective and efficient provision of its service is a great pleasure for this governor.”
In this sense, he placed special emphasis on the State’s commitment to provide greater security to the community, “it is important not only materially, but also the concept of what our obligations and responsibilities are that are embodied in our Constitution where it establishes that the government must guarantee security, education, health and justice to all its citizens, which are essential services and rights that the citizen has to claim that we guarantee, for this reason we are providing our security force with the tools necessary to provide efficient service.
Likewise, the provincial president praised the government’s effort and stressed that 50 smart units are being delivered, 2 armored mobiles to guarantee the safety of those who visit us, 50 motorcycles and 10 gala motorcycles to present to the security force accordingly. , and also detailed that this is added to other elements, which has to do with equipment, working conditions, the vehicle fleet, the salary, where in these 3 and a half years of management it was possible to equate the salary with other important provinces of the country.
On the occasion, the governor made a special thank you to the security force, and argued, “I have to say with great honor that our province is one of the safest in the Argentine Republic, because we have a people that is meek and a police efficient, which generates trust, protects and provides a policy that prevents crime, not repression, and I want to convey my gratitude and commitment to all the personnel of the security force, to the highest level”.
In this context, the Minister of Security, Justice and Human Rights, Miguel Zarate, indicated that this political decision is an important moment for the security force and for the community in general, which materialized with the delivery of this endowment of vehicles, and He stressed, “it constitutes one of the most important patrol car deliveries in the country, and I say this because we have the possibility of having a dialogue with ministers from other provinces and we know the difficulty that the security forces have in order to have this type of tools”, and he emphasized: “thank you very much, Governor, for this decision that is concrete and tangible, there are 50 trucks and 60 motorcycles that come to respond to the security system that had a lack of patrol cars and also human resources, and in the month of February 224 new policemen joined the ranks of the security force, both in the provincial Police and in the prison service, and this has to do with that political decision that Governor Ricardo Quintela has been taking since the beginning of his administration ”.
Finally, Zarate explained that the new patrol cars that are being delivered to the security force are prototypes of intelligent patrol cars imported from China, and which were presented months ago in Mexico City, at a world security meeting. , for which he highlighted, “these patrol cars will allow us to be closer to the people, have a quick and effective exit in the event of an emergency call, because they will be monitored at 911, to provide a faster and more efficient service by from the police”.
Each smart phone is equipped with 4 cameras with audio and video recording located on the top of each unit, providing a 360° view in Full HD quality, they also have a Wi-Fi antenna with 4G technology to transmit data in real time to the Monitoring of the Comprehensive Center for Citizen Security 911, through GPS provides the position of the patrolman and parameters of its route. In addition, they have an internal recorder that serves as a support, recording all the data in an auxiliary way.
An anti-panic button was installed in each vehicle, which when activated sends a signal of its location to 911 to notify any emergency situation.
