The national government ordered today a 35% increase in the provision of the Tarjeta Alimentar program, in addition to two new quarterly increases during 2023, as announced by the Minister of Social Development, Victoria Tolosa Paz.
In this way, families with only one child will receive 17,000 pesos per month, while those with two and three children will receive assistance of $26,000 and $34,000, respectively.

How much will the new amounts of the Alimentar Card be?
- Families with a child between the ages of 0 and 14 who receive the Universal Child Allowance (AUH), AUH with Disability, Pregnancy Allowance or Pension for mothers of 7 or more children will see an increase of $4,500, from $12,500 to $17,000.
- The Food Card for families with two children from 0 to 14 years old who receive AUH, AUH with Disability or Pension for mothers of 7 or more children will increase from $7,000, raising the amount from $19,000 to $26,000.
- Meanwhile, there will be an increase of $9,000 for families with three children or more from 0 to 14 years of age who receive AUH, AUH with Disability or Pension for mothers of 7 or more children, going from $25,000 to $34,000.
