The Cordoba town of Hernando, located in the department of Tercero Arriba, celebrated this Sunday its municipal elections and the radical candidate Ricardo Bianchini he imposed himself on the peronist Louis Scarlet. In this way, the party maintains the administration. Different national referents of Together for Change they greeted the victor.
The 29 tables counted in the four establishments of the city finally determined the victory of Bianchini by 51.6% to 41.6%. There, 10,085 Hernandenses out of a total of 18,000 inhabitants were empowered to vote, according to the local electoral justice system.
“This triumph is to ratify the course we took in 2015, which is development and growth for our city of Hernando”, expressed the mayor-elect to the media stationed in the place.

The presidential candidate and current governor of Jujuy, Gerardo Morales, highlighted: “New radical triumph in Córdoba! Congratulations, Bianchini, for the excellent choice. In every corner, with radicalism united and with all the strength of Together for Change, we are going to turn Argentina around. The change has already begun and it is unstoppable”.
The senator Martin Lousteau, who seeks to be a candidate for the Buenos Aires head of government, also highlighted the victor’s party origins. “A radicalism that manages and resolves. Congratulations!” he expressed.

Eight days ago, the province of Córdoba was also the scene of an electoral dispute in the city of La Falda. There, the radical Javier Dieminger was re-elected, who vstarted Peronism with more than 70% of the votes and continued to strengthen the cambiemita force on the soil of La Falda.

In February something similar had happened in La Pampa during the internal election held by the radical Martín Berhongaray and Martín Maquieyra, the PRO candidate.
